Membership is taken very seriously at First Assembly.
We encourage all who decide to make First Assembly their church family to go through this important process. Many of the volunteer positions of ministry at First Assembly require church membership.
Those who are interested in membership attend an eight week course taught by Pastor Matt that familiarizes them with the vision, organization, and doctrine of the church as well as the commitments of membership. Upon completion of the course those who desire may submit their names for membership to Pastor Matt and the board of the church. Those names are reviewed, considered, and welcomed into membership during a monthly meeting of the Pastor and board.
