At the heart of First Assembly of God here in Jonesboro,AR. is the people's strong desire to share the good news of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world. That is why we have an outreach into the prisons and jails of our area.
Prison Ministry Outreach
We are involved in the Kairos Prison Ministry, an interdenominational ministry that spans several foreign countries and at present 31 different states here in the U.S.- Kairos has active ministries in 5 Arkansas prisons including 1 juvenile unit and a women's unit.
Kairos Mission Statement
The mission of Kairos,Inc. is to bring Christ's love and forgiveness to all incarcerated individuals, their families, and those who work with them, and to assist in the transition of becoming a productive citizen.
